Spectators: 5003 (Terracing: 4002, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Jaunzuria in the 5th minute of play forced La Tetera's goalkeeper Norberto Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, La Tetera's Epifanio Stanislao got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Mariano Jaunzuria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gingins FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Jaunzuria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Cordara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Everardo Chabier's late challenge caught a Gingins FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Chabier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, La Tetera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Chabier to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Jorge Banegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gingins FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Tetera the free kick. The supporters of La Tetera booed when Gingins FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Banegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Hartz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Gervasio Osmundo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gustavo Ralondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gervasio Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Acosta in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Tetera's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eulalio Sein was slow to take the kick. During this time Gingins FC's players had a chance to rest. 37 minutes into the game, Gustavo Ralondo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gervasio Osmundo. Gustavo Ralondo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Gustavo Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Osmundo having to interfere. Norberto Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Acosta in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Ralondo to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Nestor Acosta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gingins FC and the La Tetera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nestor Acosta hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Hilario Hartz might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Osmundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hilario Hartz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute Nestor Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Tetera's zone, Nestor Acosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Cordara came out of the goal and Nestor Acosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Gingins FC's Mariano Jaunzuria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norberto Cordara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 minutes, Alfredo Eguzki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Tetera and the Gingins FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Alfredo Eguzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltasar Lluis's late challenge caught a La Tetera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltasar Lluis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for La Tetera. Epifanio Stanislao stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gervasio Osmundo. 2-1. Gustavo Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Osmundo having to interfere. Gustavo Ralondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervasio Osmundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Norberto Cordara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Jaunzuria in the 85th minute. La Tetera's Norberto Cordara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save La Tetera from getting a goal against them. Gingins FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
