The corner led La Scaloneta's Zacarias Adrio to fire away a dangerous shot which Baltasar Rufo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Evaristo Sanchez took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Bernardino Cortez to make any attempt to save it.
