The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Eutor made a kick off. La Scaloneta's Zacarias Adrio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cleto Eleder, made in the 51st minute of the game. Zacarias Adrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvano Raphael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. La Scaloneta's Celso Casomiro got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvano Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Eutor in the 54th minute of the match. When Benjamin Cordarrell came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the La Scaloneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Cordarrell couldn't finish the play. A long shot from Andres Eguntsenti in the 68th minute of play was well struck, but Bernardino Cortez made a really good save at the right post. Liverpool Sarandi's Silvano Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Eutor in the 69th minute of play.
