After a rather tough play, A.A Celina's Ramon Quintana got a free kick in the 4th minute. Animalandia's Paulo Rozarius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Feo in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Lorenzo Nuñez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sem Pau. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Animalandia booed when A.A Celina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Orzaize didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sem Pau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Dominguez in the 17th minute. A collision led to A.A Celina getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ramon Quintana hit a great ball. Alfonso Orzaize kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ramon Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A Celina's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Quintana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Rozarius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sem Pau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Animalandia's Ciro Dominguez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sem Pau. Sem Pau yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Animalandia's zone, Melchor Feo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Rozarius came out of the goal and Melchor Feo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorato Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Laureano Norino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Animalandia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A Celina the free kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvio Endura to make the kick off. Sem Pau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Madaleno in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Lorenzo Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sem Pau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, A.A Celina's Ramon Quintana got a free kick in the 55th minute. Ramon Quintana hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Sem Pau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Dominguez in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute A.A Celina were awarded a corner. Ramiro Quirze went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Melchor Feo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 69 played minutes Animalandia got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Dominguez. Paulo Rozarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Arias in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Animalandia's Denis Bernard got a free kick in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Animalandia's zone, Ramiro Quirze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Rozarius came out of the goal and Ramiro Quirze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Rozarius was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melchor Feo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 81 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ramon Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A Celina's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Quintana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Rozarius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Honorato Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Rozarius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Ibon, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ramon Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
