Leonel Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Guillermo Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melchor Feo to make the kick off. Efrain Mikelar took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sem Pau. Sem Pau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Sem Pau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Urdaspal, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Arias during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
