Adolfo Policarpio was slow to take the kick. During this time RIVER DE OLMOS's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Adolfo Policarpio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atletico Alvarado's Epifanio Peter did a great save. Thanks to some nice moves Marcial Montez could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Roberto Bilintx however easily saved by the left post. When Club Atletico Alvarado's Roque Segio in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Epifanio Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Niguel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Montez during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of RIVER DE OLMOS booed when Club Atletico Alvarado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Montez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Pacorro in the 30th minute of the match. Epifanio Peter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A well placed Roque Segio short distance shot in the 42nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Santo Pacorro might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Peter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santo Pacorro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Niguel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Peter having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Niguel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Segio in the 51st minute of play forced RIVER DE OLMOS's goalkeeper Roberto Bilintx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Cebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Peter having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Segio in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Bilintx saved RIVER DE OLMOS from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Berto during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pastor Berto hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Roque Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atletico Alvarado walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
