Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Angel Peruanton took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Talleres CBA's Nestor Tabby got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Conrado Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Gai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Napier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 13 minutes, Leopoldo Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diablos Rojos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Napier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Ado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Gai having to interfere. Adolfo Gai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Ado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Leopoldo Napier in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Ado in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Gai saved Talleres CBA from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Talleres CBA's Isaias Rufio got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Diablos Rojos's Leopoldo Napier got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Nicolas Ado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres CBA's zone, Nicolas Ado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Gai came out of the goal and Nicolas Ado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute of the match Federico Bladi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Gai skillfully saved the ball. Angel Peruanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Txaran having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Ado to make the kick off. When Pascual Gorri fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diablos Rojos's protests and gave Pascual Gorri a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Leopoldo Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diablos Rojos's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Napier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Gai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adolfo Gai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Napier went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Nicolas Ado came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Diablos Rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Ado couldn't finish the play. When Diablos Rojos's Nicolas Ado in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Severiano Galtero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diablos Rojos's Cecilio Txaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Peruanton in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Talleres CBA's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Ado came free, but Adolfo Gai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Napier might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Gai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leopoldo Napier ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaias Rufio's late challenge caught a Diablos Rojos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Rufio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Talleres CBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Rufio to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Gai made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Leopoldo Napier sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Ado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Galtero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Txaran having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Napier got free with Adolfo Gai in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diablos Rojos's Cecilio Txaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Peruanton in the 86th minute of play. Adolfo Gai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Napier in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Talleres CBA's goalkeeper Adolfo Gai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Napier. When Melchor Mel fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres CBA's protests and gave Melchor Mel a yellow card for diving instead. 95 minutes in the game, Nicolas Ado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adolfo Gai having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Diablos Rojos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Talleres CBA.
