A collision led to catamate getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Cipriano Blai hit a great ball. If Cipriano Blai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Blai in the 41st minute of play forced OLIMPO FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Sansone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Eron's late challenge caught a OLIMPO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Eron helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes catamate got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Eron. After recieving a nice pass, OLIMPO FC's Osvaldo Romildo tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, OLIMPO FC's Cirilo Sansone got control of the ball when Anier Vergaray tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anier Vergaray came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cirilo Sansone could save by the left post. Ivan Ermano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Benitez, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Fulgencio Eron was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Fulgencio Eron hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
