Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cipriano Blai took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cipriano Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Christian Piearres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Ermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Cuartio in the 10th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match, Aquiles Salamon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivan Ermano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, catamate's Ivan Ermano got control of the ball when Ambrosio Errando tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ambrosio Errando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Salamon struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ivan Ermano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matará. Aquiles Salamon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ivan Ermano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, catamate's Omar Erroman got a free kick in the 41st minute. Aquiles Salamon struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ivan Ermano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matará. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Severo Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the catamate defense, Aquiles Salamon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Ermano. The catamate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Ermano should have stopped the shot. In the 58th match minute, catamate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Eron to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Omar Erroman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led to Matará's Ambrosio Errando getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ivan Ermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Errando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matará's goalkeeper Christian Piearres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 70 minutes of play, Matará's Aquiles Salamon made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Ermano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the match, catamate's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Salamon came free, but Ivan Ermano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th match minute, Matará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Larra to maneuver through the defense. Anier Vergaray had several of the Matará's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Christian Piearres as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 93 minutes, Cipriano Blai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the catamate and the Matará players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes catamate got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Eron. Ivan Ermano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Errando in the 96th minute of play. After 98 minutes catamate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Severo Cuartio who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Severo Cuartio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but catamate's Ivan Ermano did a great save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Matará had played much better football throughout.
