Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Orlando Bittor started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Falckner's Mauricio Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Bittor in the 12th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Falckner was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Dimas to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Ramiro Txatxu made a precise shot to the right of Mauricio Santxol. Falckner's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Esteve Oinatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 minutes, Baldomero Pes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falckner and the Franklin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Alonzo Ramone made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Franklin FC's zone, Esteve Oinatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falckner the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Alonzo Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falckner's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Ramone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Efraim in the 66th minute of play forced Franklin FC's goalkeeper Ruben Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Bittor in the 74th minute of play. If Ramiro Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Ramone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Godoy having to make a save. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Franklin FC's goalkeeper Ruben Godoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esteve Oinatz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Godoy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. The Falckner manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Franklin FC to win.
