When Artemio Vincent came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Deportivo Humito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Vincent couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Hernan Esquipula managed to get in a good position for a shot. VdeVagancia's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Esquipula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Quintan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Delfino in the 10th minute of play forced Deportivo Humito's goalkeeper Luisito Quintan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorio Delfino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Quintan having to interfere. In the 17th minute Armando Virila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Caradaro in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Montae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Artemio Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Deportivo Humito's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Delfino came free, but Luisito Quintan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorio Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Virila charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Virila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Armando Virila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Victoriano Astigar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luisito Quintan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Caradaro to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Deportivo Humito booed when VdeVagancia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Dominix didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, VdeVagancia's Fabio Hermon got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Sergio Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Tomas Caradaro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Deportivo Humito's Tomas Caradaro got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Victorio Delfino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisito Quintan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Amancio Claris charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sergio Jaunzuria hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Amancio Claris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Humito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.
