Eulalio Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Bittor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 played minutes Como te duele la cola... got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Montiel. Ramiro Txatxu took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eulalio Mercurio. Eulalio Mercurio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute Wincenty Kaczorowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Como te duele la cola...'s goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Bittor came free, but Eulalio Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Gonzalo Montiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Wincenty Kaczorowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Franklin FC's Carlos Indartsu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carlos Indartsu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Franklin FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carlos Indartsu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Wincenty Kaczorowski made the kick off in the second half. Como te duele la cola...'s Juli Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Wincenty Kaczorowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Franklin FC's goalkeeper Ruben Godoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Diego Belasko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Franklin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Como te duele la cola... the free kick. In the 66th minute, Diego Belasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Jakobe kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes, Como te duele la cola...'s Camilo Fernandez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruben Godoy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Como te duele la cola... reached it. Eulalio Mercurio was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Ramiro Txatxu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramiro Txatxu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Nereo Musko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Godoy having to make a save. In the 82nd minute Wincenty Kaczorowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wincenty Kaczorowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juli Alvarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruben Godoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juli Alvarez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute, Juli Alvarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Godoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After some careless play in the Franklin FC defense, Wincenty Kaczorowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Godoy. The Franklin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Godoy should have stopped the shot. Como te duele la cola... walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
