Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) When Diego Belasko came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Franklin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Belasko couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Txatxu got free with Leandro Montae in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leandro Montae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Bittor in the 10th minute of the match. If Ramiro Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Orlando Bittor in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ruben Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Delfino in the 18th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Luis Montxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Franklin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VdeVagancia the free kick. 24 minutes into the game, one of Franklin FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ruben Godoy had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Victoriano Astigar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 26 minutes of play, VdeVagancia's Victoriano Astigar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Godoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruben Godoy came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by VdeVagancia's Sergio Jaunzuria. But to his dismay, Sergio Jaunzuria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Hernan Esquipula fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VdeVagancia's protests and gave Hernan Esquipula a yellow card for diving instead. Hernan Esquipula kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ramiro Txatxu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Leandro Montae skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 43rd minute, Sergio Jaunzuria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leandro Montae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Bittor in the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Ramiro Txatxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Franklin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorio Delfino was the one to do the kick off. Ramiro Txatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Leandro Montae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franklin FC's Ruben Godoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Franklin FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Bittor in the 65th minute of play forced VdeVagancia's goalkeeper Leandro Montae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, VdeVagancia's Victorio Delfino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Godoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Sergio Jaunzuria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Godoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Sergio Jaunzuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Godoy having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Delfino in the 82nd minute of play forced Franklin FC's goalkeeper Ruben Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, VdeVagancia's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Bittor came free, but Leandro Montae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Txatxu might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Montae. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramiro Txatxu ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the game, Carlos Indartsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Franklin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VdeVagancia the free kick. After 87 played minutes Franklin FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Indartsu. Victorio Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franklin FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Victorio Delfino scored to the left of an out of position Ruben Godoy, making the score, 1-4.
