Jesus Paskal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Obeko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesus Paskal went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hermengildo Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Paskal in the 16th minute of play. Hermengildo Obeko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Qwinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Picapiedras F.C. booed when Fortuna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Lázaro Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Picapiedras F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Qwinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Obeko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jesus Paskal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermengildo Obeko was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. It was a penalty for Picapiedras F.C.! 33 minutes into the game, Picapiedras F.C.'s Jesus Paskal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermengildo Obeko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Picapiedras F.C.'s goalkeeper Candido Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fortuna FC's Hermengildo Obeko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Fortuna FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Serafin Cedro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Picapiedras F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Cedro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortuna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Picapiedras F.C. the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Paskal got free with Hermengildo Obeko in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabricio Mede kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jesus Paskal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hermengildo Obeko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Beila's late challenge caught a Picapiedras F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Beila helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Ermegildo Beila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
