After a rather tough play, El Equipo de Tandil's Eleuterio Bertran got a free kick in the 9th minute. Desiderio Maurino came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by El Equipo de Tandil's Maximo Bras. But to his dismay, Maximo Bras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 26th minute, Cirilo Chago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Prudencio Shepherd fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redondo's protests and gave Prudencio Shepherd a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Redondo getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Prudencio Shepherd hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, El Equipo de Tandil's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Otsando came free, but Lino Vincent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Redondo booed when El Equipo de Tandil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lino Vincent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Bras might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Maurino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Bras ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Chago to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Chago in the 60th minute of play forced El Equipo de Tandil's goalkeeper Lino Vincent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Vincent having to interfere. Dionisio Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Maximo Bras notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Redondo's Desiderio Maurino. Desiderio Maurino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 71 played minutes El Equipo de Tandil got a freekick which was hit by Israel Maureo. Dionisio Erroman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Maurino having to make a save. Maximo Bras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Desiderio Maurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cirilo Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redondo's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Chago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Vincent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cirilo Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lino Vincent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Cirilo Chago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Equipo de Tandil walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
