Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. River Eze's Edelmiro Buinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Rito in the 9th minute of play. Raul Porfiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River Eze's Norberto Pirro got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Porfiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmelo Romano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Leobardo in the 20th minute of play forced River Eze's goalkeeper Edelmiro Buinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Edelmiro Buinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Apolo Bittor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Leobardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edelmiro Buinton having to make a save. Carmelo Romano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Porfiro in the 62nd minute of the match. Carmelo Romano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Porfiro went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. River Eze's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
