The audience was convinced that Abelardo Monico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquilino Alfonso was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Doncella de Hierro's Aquilino Alfonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Monico in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Los Planktons's goalkeeper Ovidio Dominguez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabricio Aznar. Los Planktons had played much better football throughout.
