Claudio Erlantz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Machado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Capla's zone, Lázaro Etxeberri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Cresitobalo came out of the goal and Lázaro Etxeberri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th match minute, Capla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Venceslas to maneuver through the defense. Ildefonso Cresitobalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Etxeberri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Erlantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Zeledon Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Larra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Machado having to interfere. rocarosa's Zeledon Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save rocarosa from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the game, Donato Larra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zeledon Machado. Donato Larra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Raimundo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Lázaro Etxeberri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donato Larra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zeledon Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Edgard Lluis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Lázaro Etxeberri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. rocarosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Etxeberri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Raimundo Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capla's goalkeeper Ildefonso Cresitobalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute Raimundo Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Cresitobalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Donato Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Capla getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Edgard Lluis hit a great ball. Zeledon Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Capla's Claudio Erlantz got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Romulo Jurgi fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored rocarosa's protests and gave Romulo Jurgi a yellow card for diving instead. When Donato Larra came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Capla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Larra couldn't finish the play. Romulo Jurgi was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Claudio Erlantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
