The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Bermund during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, El Gran Toke's Eriberto Oidor tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dionisio Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Kepa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Eguntsenti having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, El Gran Toke's Arnulfo Maule sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Eguntsenti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 39 minutes of play C.A Fatimaticos's Enzo Bermund was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 39th minute, Enzo Bermund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dionisio Chano to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Arnulfo Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Eguntsenti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Eguntsenti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Maule in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, El Gran Toke's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Chano came free, but Isaac Kaiet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Maule might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddy Eguntsenti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnulfo Maule ran back to his position shaking his head. C.A Fatimaticos's Freddy Eguntsenti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save C.A Fatimaticos from getting a goal against them. When Robustiano Lopez fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A Fatimaticos's protests and gave Robustiano Lopez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C.A Fatimaticos's Robustiano Lopez got a free kick in the 74th minute.
