Horacio Lucians short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Elpidio Peyo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Argina during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Diosito de 9 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Pastor Argina hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Diosito de 9's goalkeeper Honorato Laurgain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Horacio Lucian in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elpidio Peyo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Honorato Laurgain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Poncio in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Diosito de 9 booed when Jarillito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Cordarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Jarillito FC's protests and gave Eusebio Cordarin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jarillito FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Eusebio Cordarin hit a great ball. After 35 minutes, Jonas Lugo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jarillito FC and the Diosito de 9 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, one of Jarillito FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jarillito FC. Jarillito FC's Elpidio Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Charro in the 40th minute of play. Honorato Aurken scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Laurgain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horacio Lucian was the one to do the kick off. When Horacio Lucian came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Diosito de 9 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Lucian couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute of the match Amadeo Su sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Peyo skillfully saved the ball. Eusebio Cordarin got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 78 played minutes Jarillito FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Cordarin. Diosito de 9's Horacio Lucian got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Lucian in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Peyo saved Jarillito FC from getting behind. Amadeo Su took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elpidio Peyo. Jarillito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Diosito de 9 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
