Cipriano Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Amadeo Orlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Zeledon Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Gigantes's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Sanchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Orlo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerardo Otsoa kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Hugo Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Elia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Todo en venta!'s goalkeeper Amadeo Orlo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomás Tercero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Orlo having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Zeledon Sanchez struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Amadeo Orlo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Gigantes. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Todo en venta!'s goalkeeper Amadeo Orlo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeledon Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejandro Hanot helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Los Gigantes booed when Todo en venta! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Los Gigantes getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Igor Leheren hit a great ball. Florencio Liher took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severo Elia. Los Gigantes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Severo Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Lucila in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Lucio Bazil notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Los Gigantes's Severo Elia. Severo Elia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Lucila in the 94th minute of play forced Los Gigantes's goalkeeper Severo Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
