Evaristo Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Los Gigantes's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Idacio came free, but Severo Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Los Gigantes's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Leheren came free, but Severo Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Sebastian Flor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zeledon Sanchez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Severo Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Idacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Zeledon Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Sansone having to interfere. Zeledon Sanchez struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Evaristo Sansone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Gigantes. Severo Elia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquilino Leheren went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Zeledon Sanchez notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ToCogollo's Evaristo Sansone. Evaristo Sansone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Orlando Montel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Sansone made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Zeledon Sanchez sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Tercero struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Evaristo Sansone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Gigantes. Evaristo Sansone made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Orlando Montel sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Sanchez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Evaristo Sansone made a huge save. If Zeledon Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Sanchez made a kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Los Gigantes's Zeledon Sanchez made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Sansone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Los Gigantes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Anastasio Gamus scored to the left of an out of position Severo Elia, making the score, 2-4. Evaristo Sansone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Zeledon Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Evaristo Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Cipriano Nevada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Los Gigantes booed when ToCogollo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Mattin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of ToCogollo were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Los Gigantes side.
