In the 3rd minute, one of LEON:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LEON. In the 6th minute, Ariel Paio made a precise shot to the right of Alejo Abreu. LEON's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Alejo Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Bernaldo in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Los Rompe Botas Fc booed when LEON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Martxelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes, Los Rompe Botas Fc's Ariel Paio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alejo Abreu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Rompe Botas Fc reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Elia in the 14th minute of play forced LEON's goalkeeper Alejo Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Justo Goyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Justo Goyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. LEON's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Goyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciriaco Polo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justo Goyo in the 21st minute. Vinicio Mancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Polo having to interfere. Martin Bladi charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Bladi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, LEON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Bladi to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Bernaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alejo Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LEON's Alejo Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Elia in the 41st minute of play. Alejo Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Bernaldo in the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaudencio Elia to strike the kick off in the second half. Justo Goyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Los Rompe Botas Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Nerio to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Abreu made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Camilo Bernaldo sent off a good shot on target. Gaudencio Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Abreu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LEON's Venancio Cordeiro got a free kick in the 76th minute. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by LEON's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ariel Paio was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Rompe Botas Fc's players had a chance to rest. Los Rompe Botas Fc's Casimiro Isadore was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alejo Abreu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to LEON getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Fabian Romano hit a great ball. Alejo Abreu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ariel Paio. Hermengildo Martxelin hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Camilo Bernaldo could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Alejo Abreu however easily saved by the left post. In the 89th minute Justo Goyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Bernaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Alejo Abreu made a huge save. Gaudencio Elia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Rompe Botas Fc walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
