Everardo Canor started the match with the kick off. Tsubasa F.C's Roman Urdin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LEON. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Efraim got free with Alejo Abreu in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Handi in the 11th minute of play forced Tsubasa F.C's goalkeeper Aristides Cerilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Cerilo having to interfere. LEON's Alejo Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Canor in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tsubasa F.C's zone, Justo Goyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Cerilo came out of the goal and Justo Goyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Maximo Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of LEON booed when Tsubasa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Handi struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Aristides Cerilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LEON. Maximo Handi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Cerilo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Maximo Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Cerilo having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Justo Goyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Cerilo. Tsubasa F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justo Goyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 45th minute Justo Goyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Justo Goyo sped through Tsubasa F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aristides Cerilo. The Tsubasa F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LEON were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximo Handi to strike the kick off in the second half. Leo Ihintza charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leo Ihintza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Tsubasa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Leo Ihintza. 54 minutes into the match, LEON's Justo Goyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Cerilo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Everardo Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Tsubasa F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Handi came free, but Aristides Cerilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Everardo Canor made a precise shot to the right of Alejo Abreu. LEON's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Tsubasa F.C getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jaime Efraim hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tsubasa F.C's zone, Justo Goyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Cerilo came out of the goal and Justo Goyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinicio Mancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Cerilo having to interfere. Vinicio Mancio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, LEON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Martxelin to maneuver through the defense. If Justo Goyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Efraim scored 2-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejo Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aristides Cerilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Handi in the 95th minute of play.
