With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Foro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honorio Gutxi came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alejo Abreu could save by the left post. In the 31st minute, Narciso Sanduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejo Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmiro Mano in the 34th minute. Justo Goyo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Foro having to make a save. Alejo Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmiro Mano went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Huracan de Saladillo's Paulo Foro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Handi in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Maximo Handi managed to get in a good position for a shot. LEON's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Handi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Foro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Huracan de Saladillo fans cheered their team off the field, for while LEON had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
