Hermengildo Martxelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Guanaco FC's Octavio Sidro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alejo Abreu. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Maximo Handi succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Maximo Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Celipe having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Goyo during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, LEON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Goyo to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Primeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Maximo Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Handi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Adan Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Sidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Bernardino Grabiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guanaco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Grabiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Maximo Handi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Octavio Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guanaco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejo Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardino Grabiel went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavio Sidro was the one to do the kick off. Bernardino Grabiel took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejo Abreu. Alejo Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Bernardino Grabiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejo Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardino Grabiel ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabian Romano hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Pascual Etxeberri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Abreu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Pascual Etxeberri sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and LEON's Alejo Abreu didn't even have to move. Octavio Sidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Abreu having to interfere. A hard shot 79 in the game by Justo Goyo from a close distance when the talented Adan Celipe managed to make a qualified save. Guanaco FC's players were relieved. 96 minutes into the match, Maximo Handi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adan Celipe, 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the LEON players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guanaco FC.
