Romulo Argina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almirante Brown. 22 minutes into the match, Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Mede came free, but Saul Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Barrio Alberdi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. If Fabian Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almirante Brown's Fabian Maldonado got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Octavio Martino hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Romulo Argina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Asier in the 51st minute of the match. When Elvio Olo fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrio Alberdi FC's protests and gave Elvio Olo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Elvio Olo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Barrio Alberdi FC's zone, Octavio Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Argina came out of the goal and Octavio Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Almirante Brown booed when Barrio Alberdi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Olo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Almirante Brown's Wilfredo Behe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wilfredo Behe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Almirante Brown protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wilfredo Behe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Almirante Brown:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barrio Alberdi FC:s goal. Cesar Dolfo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 69 minutes, Cesar Dolfo made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Almirante Brown's Saul Godoy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Barrio Alberdi FC's Romulo Argina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Maldonado in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Tobias Casomiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saul Godoy was a little too slow when Rosendo Mede got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-3. If Fabian Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Almirante Brown's Saul Godoy got control of the ball when Rosendo Mede tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Barrio Alberdi FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Silvano Orlin hit a great ball.
