The Los Tilos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Pinto should have stopped the shot. After having played for 75 minutes, Eustaquio Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Nicolás de los Arroyo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Hartz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eustaquio Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alketas Anagnostopoulos having to interfere. A collision led to San Nicolás de los Arroyo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Efrain Pirro hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Los Tilos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eustaquio Hartz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match was over San Nicolás de los Arroyo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Tilos FC throughout the match.
