Ramona's Amador Iratze got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cristo Frutos fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ramona's protests and gave Cristo Frutos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ramona's Cristo Frutos got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Fulgencio Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pozuelos's Paulo Faron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Christobal in the 34th minute of play. Ramona's Edgard Rencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ramona from getting a goal against them. Paulo Faron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Beremundo during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anibal Beremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Pozuelos's Maximo Herena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgard Rencio. Edgard Rencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, Pozuelos's goalkeeper Paulo Faron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmar Christobal. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Paulo Faron successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fulgencio Oliviero struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Edgard Rencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pozuelos. Edgard Rencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Oliviero's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Delmar Christobal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ramona fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Ramona getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Maximiliano Jordy hit a great ball. Fulgencio Oliviero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Oliviero in the 81st minute of play forced Ramona's goalkeeper Edgard Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Oliviero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Ramona's Amador Iratze dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ramona players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pozuelos.
