A collision led to ELGALACTY getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Domingo Matxin hit a great ball. Domingo Matxin's late challenge caught a Pozuelos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Matxin helped the player get up and apologised. Domingo Matxin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Maximo Herena put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adolfo Santana. Maximo Herena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Santana having to interfere. ELGALACTY's Benigno Lain got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Pozuelos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

ELGALACTY's Adolfo Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save ELGALACTY from getting a goal against them. After having played for 59 minutes, Fulgencio Oliviero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pozuelos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Oliviero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Maximo Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Oliviero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Adolfo Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Herena got free with Adolfo Santana in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benigno Lain kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. ELGALACTY's Adolfo Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save ELGALACTY from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes in the game, Fulgencio Oliviero fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adolfo Santana having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pozuelos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
