Alketas Anagnostopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Pastillas del Abuelo. When Constantino Gauargi came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Las Pastillas del Abuelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Gauargi couldn't finish the play. Joel Arixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Las Pastillas del Abuelo's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Hartz came free, but Joel Arixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicasio Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Arixo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Pastillas del Abuelo's goalkeeper Joel Arixo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

61 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Hartz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Arixo. Las Pastillas del Abuelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Hartz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Las Pastillas del Abuelo booed when San Nicolás de los Arroyo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Basajaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Uriel Pancho came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Las Pastillas del Abuelo fans jumped to their feet. In the 72nd minute Nicasio Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Arixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Eustaquio Hartz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saul Carlomagno kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Torres in the 75th minute of play forced Las Pastillas del Abuelo's goalkeeper Joel Arixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nicasio Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Hartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Arixo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Torres in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Arixo saved Las Pastillas del Abuelo from getting behind. Joel Arixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Torres in the 94th minute of play. If Eustaquio Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Las Pastillas del Abuelo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. San Nicolás de los Arroyo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
