Uriel Pancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Santana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Domingo Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Joel Arixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Arixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Lain in the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Las Pastillas del Abuelo's zone, Domingo Matxin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Arixo came out of the goal and Domingo Matxin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 16 minutes, Benigno Lain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ELGALACTY and the Las Pastillas del Abuelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benigno Lain kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Constantino Gauargi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Adolfo Santana made a huge save. Constantino Gauargis short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Adolfo Santana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adolfo Santana made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Constantino Gauargi sent off a good shot on target. After 33 minutes of play, Las Pastillas del Abuelo's Constantino Gauargi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adolfo Santana was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute Uriel Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Adolfo Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Pancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Uriel Pancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 65 played minutes ELGALACTY got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Matxin. In the 69th minute, Uriel Pancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Las Pastillas del Abuelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Uriel Pancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Pancho ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Pancho in the 79th minute of play forced ELGALACTY's goalkeeper Adolfo Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Gauargi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Adolfo Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Pastillas del Abuelo. The supporters of ELGALACTY booed when Las Pastillas del Abuelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Salomon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingo Matxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Constantino Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ELGALACTY's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
