In the 3rd minute, Bernardino Matai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Favila was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eugenio Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Bernardino Matai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Favila was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeo Aurre in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Lidon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 played minutes Pereyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Valente. In the 28th minute, Amadeo Aurre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Aquilino Maju came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Zuberbühler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Maju couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute of the match, Amadeo Aurre tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucio Lidon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lucio Lidon made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Aquilino Maju sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pereyra FC's Enzo Valente got a free kick in the 40th minute. Aquilino Maju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lucio Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when Pereyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pereyra FC's Lucio Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Aurre in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Santana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Amadeo Aurre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zuberbühler FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Aurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 played minutes Pereyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Urbez. In the 57th minute, Aquilino Maju left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zuberbühler FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Pereyra FC booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Etxeberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Roman Herrera in the 64th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ramiro Favila's left hand side. Eugenio Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ramiro Favila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Dante Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Maju in the 84th minute of play forced Pereyra FC's goalkeeper Lucio Lidon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Aquilino Maju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Lidon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ramiro Favila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
