Silvestre Jaunti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Generoso Mancio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Picasso's Maximo Dayam managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Ponc in the 8 minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, Soc. Fom. Don Bosco RM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Picasso's Froilan Cresenciano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Jaunti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Flavio Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Justino Abaunza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soc. Fom. Don Bosco RM. Justino Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Pes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Soc. Fom. Don Bosco RM's zone, Froilan Cresenciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Jaunti came out of the goal and Froilan Cresenciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justino Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Pes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Picasso's Justino Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Pes in the 32nd minute of play. Silvestre Jaunti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Castulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Flavio Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Justino Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Picasso got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Berart. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Cresenciano was the one to do the kick off. Generoso Mancio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th match minute, Picasso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Dayam to maneuver through the defense. Justino Abaunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Fernandes in the 57th minute of the match. Justino Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Fernandes in the 65th minute of play forced Picasso's goalkeeper Justino Abaunza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Fernandes took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justino Abaunza. Justino Abaunza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Froilan Cresenciano came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Picasso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Cresenciano couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Picasso's Froilan Cresenciano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvestre Jaunti. Silvestre Jaunti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Silvestre Jaunti came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Picasso's Maximo Dayam. But to his dismay, Maximo Dayam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Maximo Dayam came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvestre Jaunti could save by the left post. Benigno Matia kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. A hard shot 97 in the game by Maximo Dayam from a close distance when the talented Silvestre Jaunti managed to make a qualified save. Soc. Fom. Don Bosco RM's players were relieved.
