Eugenio Corderall walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Fermin Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bernardo Ubendu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Vincente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aurelia's goalkeeper Bernardo Ubendu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carolo Cayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Vincente in the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Douglas Haig getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alberto Chinto hit a great ball.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Vincente got free with Carolo Cayo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prospero Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Cayo stood somewhat misplaced when Prospero Vincente came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 60 minute. Carolo Cayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Vincente in the 63rd minute. Prospero Vincente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Matias Urtsua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, Douglas Haig's Eugenio Corderall got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Douglas Haig's zone, Prospero Vincente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Cayo came out of the goal and Prospero Vincente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Prospero Vincente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aurelia's supporters rose to their feet, but Prospero Vincente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Cayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Douglas Haig's zone, Prospero Vincente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Cayo came out of the goal and Prospero Vincente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Douglas Haig getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Eugenio Corderall hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aurelia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
