In the 11th minute, Mazarópi Vasco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Güemes FC's Orlando Maraman didn't even have to move. 12 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's Lino Markel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Maraman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Emenon came free, but Des Sugden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Atlético River Plate defense, Hilario Lucian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Des Sugden. The Club Atlético River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Des Sugden should have stopped the shot. Orlando Maraman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Venerando in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Güemes FC got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Madaleno. Lino Markels short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Orlando Maraman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Orlando Maraman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Venerando in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Lino Markel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Epifanio Cambranes, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gervasio Venerando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Maraman having to interfere. Marco Pelayo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Orlando Maraman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Markel in the 43rd minute. Orlando Maraman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Venerando, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Lino Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güemes FC's Orlando Maraman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Venerando in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's Gervasio Venerando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Maraman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gonzalo Emenon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute Lino Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Maraman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Maraman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Markel in the 67th minute of the match. Lino Markel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Maraman having to interfere. When Lino Markel came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Club Atlético River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Markel couldn't finish the play. When Gaudencio Bernal fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético River Plate's protests and gave Gaudencio Bernal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Atlético River Plate getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gaudencio Bernal hit a great ball. Club Atlético River Plate's Des Sugden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético River Plate from getting a goal against them. Orlando Maraman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Cambranes in the 91st minute of the match. Club Atlético River Plate's Lino Markel got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Güemes FC's goalkeeper Orlando Maraman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atlético River Plate were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Güemes FC to leave the ground with a draw.
