In the 76th minute Gonzalo Emenon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Lucian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carolo Cayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Igor Toli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Orlando Maraman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Douglas Haig's zone, Hilario Lucian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Cayo came out of the goal and Hilario Lucian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Douglas Haig booed when Güemes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Lucian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Douglas Haig supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Güemes FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Güemes FC.
