Spectators: 6985 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 15) BLoPa's Matias Hegoi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Norberto Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Laurentzi in the 4th minute of the match. Douglas Haig's Mateo Baladi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Telmo in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Hegoi in the 10th minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Mateo Baladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Bartolo Telmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Baladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Hegoi in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Baladi saved Douglas Haig from getting behind. A collision led to BLoPa getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bartolo Telmo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Douglas Haig's zone, Matias Hegoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Baladi came out of the goal and Matias Hegoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Baladi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Telmo went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 41 played minutes Douglas Haig got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Cutberto. In the 42nd minute, Isaias Dolcet sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Douglas Haig's Mateo Baladi didn't even have to move. BLoPa's Norberto Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Laurentzi in the 47th minute of play. After the first half BLoPa were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Douglas Haig's Mateo Baladi got control of the ball when Matias Hegoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Douglas Haig's Mateo Baladi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Douglas Haig from getting a goal against them. Mateo Baladi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. Mateo Baladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Telmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Hegois short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Mateo Baladi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 83 minutes into the game, Alfredo Urdin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Douglas Haig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BLoPa the free kick. The supporters of BLoPa booed when Douglas Haig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernabe Jacindo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Douglas Haig's Mateo Baladi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Douglas Haig from getting a goal against them. Bartolo Telmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mateo Baladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Telmo in the 96th minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Mateo Baladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BLoPa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
