Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Salbatore in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Musko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ruperto Luix fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcala FC's protests and gave Ruperto Luix a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Barcala FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Luix. In the 20th minute of the match Diego Lauaxeta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Abaunza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Norberto Salbatore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gregorio Musko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Barcala FC's Freddy Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Dino in the 28th minute of play. Freddy Abaunza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marciano Dino's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Anchorena's goalkeeper Gregorio Musko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Salbatore. Norberto Salbatore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Gregorio Musko made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquilino Lauaxeta made a kick off. When Barcala FC's Norberto Salbatore in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Anchorena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Dino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Barcala FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marciano Dino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marciano Dino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Abaunza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Celestino Manny kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Norberto Salbatore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anchorena's Gregorio Musko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Aquilino Herrera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anchorena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcala FC the free kick. Aquilino Herrera hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Aquilino Lauaxeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Lauaxeta in the 97th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
