Ambrosio Osmundo charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Osmundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chivilcoy FC's Samuel Barto got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evaristo Manex was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Chivilcoy FC. Aquilino Gonza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Haroldo Frederico. 1-0. Alfonso Gutxi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Cisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chivilcoy FC's zone, Ambrosio Osmundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Gutxi came out of the goal and Ambrosio Osmundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Donato Valery kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Haroldo Frederico. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. Haroldo Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Ibañez in the 31st minute of play. Daniel Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Gutxi having to interfere. Ambrosio Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Artemio Cisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Gutxi having to interfere. Alfonso Gutxi came out of the goal and Artemio Cisco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haroldo Frederico came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chivilcoy FC's Donato Valery. But to his dismay, Donato Valery quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 68thth minute of the game Ambrosio Osmundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chivilcoy FC's Alfonso Gutxi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chivilcoy FC's zone, Romulo Gerazan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Gutxi came out of the goal and Romulo Gerazan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Haroldo Frederico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Chivilcoy FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Loco. Artemio Cisco might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Gutxi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artemio Cisco ran back to his position shaking his head. Ambrosio Osmundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
