The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Granville getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Genaro Hitzeder hit a great ball. In the 19th minute of the match, Blas Selatse got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucas Jon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 21st match minute, Minacar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Colas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Gervasio Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blas Selatse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Lucas Jon made a huge save. Lucas Jon came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Minacar's Blas Selatse. But to his dismay, Blas Selatse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Paulino Maidana fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minacar's protests and gave Paulino Maidana a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Minacar's Paulino Maidana got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Feliciano Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Urdin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Desiderio Berasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minacar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Berasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Minacar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Granville were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gervasio Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. Minacar's Blas Selatse got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blas Selatse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Jon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Berasko in the 61st minute of play. Minacar's Marcial Urdin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Granville. In the 69th minute, Jimeno Colas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Basualdo's late challenge caught a Granville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Basualdo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Minacar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Basualdo to maneuver through the defense. Luciano Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Granville's Efrain Quiroga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jimeno Colas's late challenge caught a Granville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Oscar Paulin hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, Minacar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Alonso to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, Granville's Gervasio Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Gorri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Granville players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
