Gervasio Quirce might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Silvanito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Quirce ran back to his position shaking his head. Gogo Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Calisto in the 17th minute of play forced NINFOMANAS FC's goalkeeper Conrado Iruinea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes NINFOMANAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Eron. 22 minutes into the game, Leo Conrao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NINFOMANAS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escobar the free kick. Conrado Iruinea had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Justino Erasto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. NINFOMANAS FC's Conrado Iruinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Calisto in the 25th minute of play. Gervasio Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Silvanito having to interfere. If Moises Calisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Conrado Iruinea firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Gotzon in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Silvanito saved Escobar from getting behind. Joel Silvanito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Gotzon in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, NINFOMANAS FC's Vladimiro Eron got a free kick in the 69th minute. When Elias Seme was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. Elias Seme kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Escobar defense, Edgard Gotzon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Silvanito. The Escobar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Silvanito should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, NINFOMANAS FC's Vladimiro Eron got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Gogo Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Conrado Iruinea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 89 minutes, Edgard Gotzon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NINFOMANAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Gotzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
