Lucas Jon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, LA AKD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Marquez came free, but Angel Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LA AKD FC's Apolo Chago got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute Robustiano Chumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Granville's Benjamin Odon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Angel Quinten but with some difficulty. 33 minutes into the match, Granville's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Chago came free, but Lucas Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Antonio Steven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA AKD FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granville the free kick. After a rather tough play, LA AKD FC's Antonio Steven got a free kick in the 36th minute. Granville's Efrain Quiroga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Angel Quinten but with some difficulty. Apolo Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Jon having to interfere. Angel Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Arixo in the 54th minute of the match. Angel Quinten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 62nd minute, Baldomero Arixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Marquez in the 65th minute of play forced LA AKD FC's goalkeeper Angel Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Granville's Baldomero Arixo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Granville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA AKD FC the free kick. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Granville! When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, LA AKD FC's Apolo Chago got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lucas Jon. In the 87th minute, Baldomero Arixo made a precise shot to the right of Angel Quinten. LA AKD FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If Apolo Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Hitzeder hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the LA AKD FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Granville.
