Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Santiagueños F.C's Eulalio Mateo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Ceferino Mannuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Honorato Balendins short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Astor Pelayo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ceferino Mannuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Pelayo having to interfere. Ceferino Mannuel hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Paulino Eusko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. estudiantes L.P's Fermin Chaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Mateo in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, estudiantes L.P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Dino to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in estudiantes L.P's zone, Eulalio Mateo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Chaime came out of the goal and Eulalio Mateo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Chaime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Mateo in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Gavino Rexino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santiagueños F.C and the estudiantes L.P players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Santiagueños F.C getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gavino Rexino hit a great ball. Honorato Balendin struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Astor Pelayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for estudiantes L.P. In the 37th minute Ceferino Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Honorato Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victoriano Donostia might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Pelayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Donostia ran back to his position shaking his head. Astor Pelayo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Honorato Balendin sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 46 minutes, Ceferino Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. estudiantes L.P's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Mannuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceferino Mannuel to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Salvator hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Eulalio Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Chaime having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Victoriano Donostia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Honorato Balendin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Pelayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Honorato Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Astor Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ceferino Mannuel fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored estudiantes L.P's protests and gave Ceferino Mannuel a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes estudiantes L.P got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Mannuel. In the 73rd match minute, estudiantes L.P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Corderun to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Eulalio Mateo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Victoriano Donostia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. estudiantes L.P's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santiagueños F.C the free kick. In the 81st match minute, estudiantes L.P was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Donostia to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Chaime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ceferino Mannuel sped through Santiagueños F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Astor Pelayo. Victoriano Donostia hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Eusko got free with Fermin Chaime in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Santiagueños F.C's Eulalio Mateo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fermin Chaime narrowly saved just below the crossbar. estudiantes L.P's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
