After 38 played minutes Abreaccionados F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Afonso. After a defensive mix-up in Abreaccionados F.C.'s zone, Baldomero Arixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Taurino came out of the goal and Baldomero Arixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremias Alfonso's late challenge caught a Abreaccionados F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Alfonso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Granville's Jeremias Alfonso got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silverio Cerilo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Granville's Lucas Jon got control of the ball when Cornelio Mergildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Abreaccionados F.C.'s Ceferino Afonso got a free kick in the 59th minute. Granville's Efrain Quiroga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. Granville's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Vinicio Oliverios got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cleto Taurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Marquez in the 95th minute of the match. When Horacio Pierres fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granville's protests and gave Horacio Pierres a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Granville got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Pierres. For all the effort they put into the match, the Abreaccionados F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Granville.
