Desiderio Berasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Conrado Iruinea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Minacar's Hector Gorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Gotzon in the 28th minute of play. Marcial Urdin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Minacar! Jimeno Colas struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Conrado Iruinea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minacar. In the 41st minute Gervasio Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Gorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Gotzon in the 42nd minute of play forced Minacar's goalkeeper Hector Gorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Selatse got free with Conrado Iruinea in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

NINFOMANAS FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
