NINFOMANAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Quirce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Taurino having to interfere. Cleto Taurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Gotzon in the 17th minute of the match. Cleto Taurino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervasio Quirce in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Gotzon in the 27th minute of play forced Abreaccionados F.C.'s goalkeeper Cleto Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Vinicio Oliverios sped through NINFOMANAS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Iruinea. A collision led to NINFOMANAS FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Oscar Checa hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Ceferino Afonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silverio Cerilo to strike the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Quirce might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cleto Taurino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Quirce ran back to his position shaking his head. Cleto Taurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Quirce in the 57th minute of the match. If Edgard Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Jerrold hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Benicio Belo's late challenge caught a Abreaccionados F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Belo helped the player get up and apologised. Amancio Viator hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, NINFOMANAS FC's Erubiel Derwin got a free kick in the 79th minute. Cleto Taurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute Gervasio Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Taurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Taurino having to interfere. NINFOMANAS FC's Gervasio Quirce got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Abreaccionados F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Abreaccionados F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
