After a rather tough play, Granville's Feliciano Jax got a free kick in the 86th minute. Lucas Jon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Mannuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granville's goalkeeper Lucas Jon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute of the match Mariano Chano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Jon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, estudiantes L.P's goalkeeper Fermin Chaime had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomero Arixo. Ceferino Mannuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Jon having to interfere. The Granville supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Granville would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
