Spectators: 7118 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Aragones started the match with the kick off. Conrado Sendoa's late challenge caught a Carabelas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Sendoa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Yatay FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Conrado Sendoa hit a great ball. Leonardo Richie took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Gonsalvo. Dionisio Gonsalvo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dionisio Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Balasi in the 11th minute of the match. If Mariano Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Yatay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Aragones came free, but Pedro Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Carabelas got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Figueroa. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Carabelas's goalkeeper Dionisio Gonsalvo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benicio Beti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Enol having to interfere. If Benicio Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Aragones in the 45th minute of play. In the 49th minute, Leonardo Richie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yatay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Balasi to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Balasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Beti succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 59th playminute. Yatay FC's Pedro Enol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Yatay FC from getting a goal against them. Leonardo Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dionisio Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Balasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Richie in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Gonsalvo saved Carabelas from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Carabelas's Atilano Urre got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Benicio Beti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Pedro Enol made a huge save. Leonardo Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dionisio Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Balasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Gonsalvo having to interfere. Carabelas's Mariano Aragones got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yatay FC's Leonardo Richie got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Yatay FC booed when Carabelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yatay FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
