Melchor Rami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Abel Manuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Laurgain might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Manuelo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustin Laurgain ran back to his position shaking his head. When Evelio Sansone came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Castelar F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Sansone couldn't finish the play. If Amadeo Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Castelar F.C's Abel Manuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Rami in the 20th minute of play. If Melchor Rami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Grabiel during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aldo Grabiel kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Evelio Sansone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute of the match Alberto Pacorro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Manuelo skillfully saved the ball. Filomeno Leheren struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Leonides Abechuco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelar F.C. Leonides Abechuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Sansone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Filomeno Leheren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castelar F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simpatía por el Diablo the free kick. 45 minutes into the match, Castelar F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Rami came free, but Abel Manuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match Arnoldo Tebaldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonides Abechuco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Evelio Sansone made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Castelar F.C got a corner. Simpatía por el Diablo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnoldo Tebaldo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Arnoldo Tebaldo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonides Abechuco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 57th minute Aristides Indartsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Abechuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simpatía por el Diablo's Agustin Laurgain got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeo Chorche kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Agustin Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Rami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Manuelo having to interfere. Julian Guilabertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Manuelo having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Castelar F.C's goalkeeper Abel Manuelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Simpatía por el Diablo's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Chorche came free, but Leonides Abechuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evelio Sansone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Abechuco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Evelio Sansone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Abechuco having to interfere. If Amadeo Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
